Magnolia Birth Center

Is Houston’s newest full-service midwifery led birth center.  Although we are new to the area, our midwives and staff have been in the business of taking care of mothers and babies for 20 years.  We bring you the experience and expertise gained with over 2300 births, including VBAC’s, twin births, and breech births.  Our center is staffed with Texas licensed midwives and professionals who have extensive knowledge of the special needs of pregnant women and their families.  By developing and working with a community-based network of professional service providers, it is our goal to provide a holistic and comprehensive approach for every mother and baby.

Prenatal Care

Excellent prenatal care is the foundation of a healthy pregnancy, labor and birth. Our initial prenatal visit is one hour where we do a complete history and an initial exam. We focus on nurturing healthy pregnancies through education, nutrition, exercise, and mental well-being. Building a strong relationship with each midwife is the core of our prenatal care, as that facilitates trust. We encourage family members to attend visits and participate in care and decision making. more

BIRTH FAIR            OCTOBER 6, 2012

The B.I.R.T.H  Fair of Houston is just around the corner!  We are so excited.  What a great opportunity it will be for us to meet the many fantastic birth workers from all over Houston and to introduce our center as well.  Alyson Kuntz-Butler will be representing our birth center on a panel of birth centers at the Fair from 11 a.m. to noon.   Come by and visit our booth to find out what surprises we have in store for the Fair.
